Culture · Relational Dynamics · Systemic Intervention

Organisations are living systems.

Intervention in organisational cultures and relational dynamics. For companies that recognise that their problems are rarely technical — they are human, systemic, and deserve a clinical reading.

Direct work with the system, not just with its parts

Most organisational interventions focus on individuals — training for leaders, coaching sessions, skills workshops. All well done, but insufficient when the problem lies in the relational fabric of the organisation.

Psingular works with the system. We read the organisation as a network of living relationships — with repeated patterns, invisible loyalties, unspoken alliances, conflicts that cannot reach the official discourse.

The neuronal violence of our time does not come from the other. It comes from within. Byung-Chul Han · The Burnout Society

We intervene where team dynamics need to be rethought, where culture calls for conscious attention, where systemic conflicts have crystallised. We bring no recipes — we bring clinical listening and time to think.

Four ways of working with the system

Each intervention is designed to fit the organisation. But there are four typical formats that we combine according to the context:

01

Teams

Team facilitation

Structured sessions with teams to rethink relationships, communication, unspoken conflicts. Working with the team as a system, not merely as a sum of people.

  • Initial relational diagnosis
  • Clinical facilitation sessions
  • Work with latent conflicts
  • Building new relational agreements
02

Crisis

Intervention in critical moments

Support for organisations in phases of acute tension — after disruptive events, during restructurings, in situations of entrenched conflict.

  • Rapid response in critical situations
  • Clinical mediation of conflicts
  • Support through difficult transitions
  • Work with organisational grief
03

Culture

Work with organisational culture

Culture is not decreed — it is built. We support organisations that want to think about their culture in depth, and not merely set it down as printed values.

  • Cultural diagnosis through ethnographic listening
  • Cultural thinking workshops
  • Support for change processes
  • Connection with concrete practices
04

Systems

Systemic analysis

A clinical reading of the dynamics circulating in the organisation — alliances, loyalties, repeated patterns, symptoms that migrate between people and departments.

  • Mapping of relational patterns
  • Identification of systemic roles
  • Work with triangulations
  • Clinical feedback to leadership

Four typical stages of the intervention

Each intervention is built with the organisation. There is, however, a typical sequence that allows the work to gain real depth over time.

The duration varies with the scope — from 3 months for a specific focus to 12 months or more for continued systemic support.

01

Initial listening

Exploratory conversations with leadership and key people. We understand the system before proposing anything. No formulas, no assumptions.

02

Systemic mapping

Identification of relational patterns, of the dynamics in circulation, of crystallised roles. A clinical reading of the organisational fabric.

03

Ongoing intervention

Regular sessions with teams, thematic workshops, support for leadership. A pace set according to what the system needs.

04

Sustaining over time

Systemic change happens over time. We accompany the organisation for as long as necessary — with the patience and rigour that real transformation calls for.

"In living systems, no element acts alone. All true change is a change in the fabric."
Systems thinking

When the system calls for attention

  • Conflict

    Persistent conflict between teams

Disputes that recur in different contexts, alliances that crystallise, deteriorating communication between departments. Signs of a system calling for intervention.

  • Culture

Organisations that want to think about their culture

For companies at formative moments — founding, scaling up, internationalisation — that recognise that culture needs to be built with substance, not decreed.

  • Change

    Organisational change processes

When structural changes are under way — mergers, restructurings, new leadership — and the organisation's human system needs support throughout the transition.

  • Care

Organisations where the work is caring

Hospitals, schools, social institutions. Where those who care often forget to be cared for. Where systemic dynamics deserve to be thought through with clinical depth.

What you need to know

Setting

In person and hybrid

Work with teams and culture is mainly in person — because of the relational nature of what happens in the room.

Some components (leadership supervision, feedback) can take place online when it makes sense.

Team

Clinical facilitators

Work with systems is conducted by psychologists trained in systemic intervention, not by generalist consultants or certified coaches.

Team introduced before any commitment.

Confidentiality

Professional secrecy

All work is covered by professional secrecy as established by the Portuguese Psychologists' Association.

What circulates in the sessions stays in the sessions — except for the feedback agreed with the organisation.

The first step is a conversation.

An exploratory meeting — no commitment, no cost. So that we can get to know your organisation and work out together whether it makes sense to move forward.
