This policy describes, clearly and simply, which cookies we use on our website, what they are for, and how you can control your preferences at any time. We believe that privacy begins with transparency.
Section 1
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet, mobile phone) when you visit it. They allow the website to "remember" some information about you — language preferences, a signed-in session, or anonymous usage statistics.
Most cookies are completely harmless. However, some can be used to track your online activity — which is why users have the right to control them.
Section 2
How we use cookies
Psingular uses cookies in a minimal and transparent way. We use only the cookies strictly necessary for the website to function and, optionally, some analytics cookies to better understand how the website is used — always with your explicit consent.
We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking or sharing with marketing platforms.
Section 3
Types of cookies we use
We classify cookies into three clear categories:
- Strictly necessary — Essential for the website to function (session, security, language preference). They cannot be disabled.
- Analytics — Help us understand how the website is used, anonymously, in order to improve it. Optional.
- Functional — Remember your preferences (display mode, device). Optional.
Section 4
Cookies in detail
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
psg_session | Necessary | Maintain the user's session across pages | Session |
psg_lang | Necessary | Remember the language preference (PT/EN/ES) | 1 year |
psg_consent | Necessary | Store your cookie preferences | 12 months |
_pa_* | Analytics | Anonymous usage statistics (Plausible) | Session |
psg_pref | Functional | User preferences (display format) | 6 months |
Plausible Analytics: Instead of Google Analytics, we use Plausible — a European, privacy-friendly alternative, with no persistent cookies, no fingerprinting and no sharing of data with third parties. It fully complies with the GDPR.
Section 5
Managing your preferences
You can enable or disable the optional cookie categories at any time. Changes are saved automatically. You can also use the floating cookie button in the bottom left-hand corner on any page of the website to open this panel.
Section 6
Third-party cookies
Our website may include content embedded from external platforms (for example, YouTube or Vimeo videos, Instagram posts). These services may place their own cookies when the content is loaded.
These cookies are governed by the privacy policies of the respective platforms:
- YouTube — Google Privacy Policy
- Instagram / Meta — Meta Privacy Policy
- LinkedIn — LinkedIn Privacy Policy
Section 7
Browser controls
In addition to the preferences panel above, you can manage cookies directly in your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy
- Edge: Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Cookies
Please note: Disabling strictly necessary cookies in the browser may compromise the functioning of the website — including signing in, navigation between pages and remembering your language preferences.
Section 8
Updates
This policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in the cookies used or in Psingular's practices. We recommend that you consult this page regularly.
