Diagnosis · Screening · Prevention · Psychosocial Risks

A real clinical diagnosis, not a satisfaction survey.

Rigorous mental health assessment, mapping of psychosocial risks and a clinical reading of your organisation. So that the decisions you take next have a foundation — not merely an intention.

Looking at your organisation's mental health with clinical depth

Most corporate "wellbeing" programmes treat mental health as a management variable — they measure satisfaction, hand out workshops, and consider the job done. For us, that is not enough.

Psingular does something different. We bring to your organisation the same rigour we apply in the consulting room: validated clinical instruments, attentive listening to relational dynamics, a systemic reading of what circulates between people.

Suffering, even when lived, is not for that reason recognised. Christophe Dejours · Psychodynamics of Work

We identify what is going well. We identify what is in distress — even what no one has yet named. We give back an actionable clinical reading, not merely a set of charts without context.

The components of the diagnosis

Each project is designed case by case, but typically brings together these four components:

01

Screening

Anonymous, voluntary screening

Use of validated clinical instruments — not generic satisfaction surveys. Burnout, anxiety, depression, emotional exhaustion, isolation.

  • Fully voluntary and anonymous participation
  • GDPR-compliant platform
  • Standardised instruments (MBI, GHQ, COPSOQ-II)
  • Analysis by relevant subgroups
02

Mapping

Psychosocial risk assessment

Identification of the main sources of stress, overload, conflict and exhaustion. Analysis of the organisational context and its relational dynamics.

  • Compliance with applicable Portuguese legislation
  • Identification of critical areas
  • Analysis by department and role
  • Comparison with sector benchmarks
03

Listening

Qualitative interviews

Confidential conversations with employees at key points in the organisation. What the numbers do not show — but what makes all the difference.

  • Absolute anonymity
  • Semi-structured interviews
  • Conducted by clinical psychologists
  • Systematic thematic analysis
04

Feedback

Report with a clinical reading

Not a dashboard — a document that thinks about your organisation. It identifies problems, proposes directions, and grounds every recommendation.

  • Executive report for leadership
  • Detailed technical document
  • Concrete, prioritised recommendations
  • In-person feedback session

A process in four stages

No Psingular diagnosis begins with a ready-made questionnaire. It begins with a conversation about your organisation.

The typical duration is 6 to 12 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the organisation.

01

Exploratory conversation

An initial meeting with no commitment. To get to know your organisation and the reason for the request, and to work out together whether it makes sense to move forward — and in which direction.

02

Project design

Building a tailored proposal — scope, instruments, calendar, team, deliverables. Always with full transparency on costs and timing.

03

Carrying out the diagnosis

Administering the instruments, conducting the interviews, structured gathering of information. Careful internal communication to ensure genuine participation.

04

Analysis, report and feedback

Integrated analysis. A detailed clinical report. A feedback session with leadership. Where it makes sense, connection with subsequent intervention programmes.

"Where there is human suffering, there is also collective intelligence waiting to be recognised."

When this assessment becomes necessary

  • Growth

    Fast-growing companies

When the structure grows faster than the culture's capacity to sustain that growth. Diagnosing before the symptom becomes a crisis.

  • Signs

    When the first signs appear

Rising sick leave for psychological reasons, high turnover, informal complaints, falling engagement. Signs that call for a clinical reading before any hasty decision.

  • Transition

    Critical moments of transition

Mergers, restructurings, changes of leadership, public crises. Moments when the organisation's human system needs to be observed with redoubled attention.

  • Compliance

    Legal compliance

Portuguese legislation requires psychosocial risk assessment. Treat this compliance as a real opportunity — not as red tape to be dispatched.

What you need to know

Confidentiality

Absolute anonymity

All individual data are processed in anonymised, aggregated form. Leadership never receives individual responses — only group-level readings.

GDPR-compliant platforms. Clinical confidentiality guaranteed by the Code of Ethics of the Portuguese Psychologists' Association (OPP).

Team

Clinical psychologists

The diagnosis is always conducted by clinical psychologists with established practice, not by generalist consultants.

The team is defined according to the project and introduced before work begins.

Investment

Tailored proposal

The fee depends on the scope, the size of the organisation and the calendar. It is set out in the detailed proposal, after the exploratory conversation.

Initial exploratory conversation at no cost.

The first step is a conversation.

An exploratory meeting — no commitment, no cost. So that we can get to know your organisation and work out together whether it makes sense to move forward.
