Coordinator of Psingular’s clinical activity
Supervision and coordination across professionals
About
João Maia is a clinical psychologist and Head of Clinical Practice at Psingular. His role brings together two inseparable dimensions: direct clinical practice with clients in consultation, and the technical coordination of clinical activity across the different professionals on the team.
He is the guarantor of what we call clinical coherence — the assurance that, whichever psychologist you work with, you will find at Psingular the same care, the same rigour, the same quality of listening. Not uniformity — coherence.
Clinical work is not managed the way an operation is managed. It is cared for. Thought through. Talked over. João Maia
He maintains an active clinical practice because he believes that no clinical coordination is credible without regular practice. He works with adults in psychotherapy and supervises the work of the junior psychologists in training at Psingular.
