The therapeutic relationship as a space for transformation

Sofia Teixeira is a clinical psychologist whose practice centres on psychotherapeutic work with adults. Her approach brings together psychodynamic models — with their attention to the unconscious, to personal history and to relational patterns — and the flexibility of contemporary integrative models.

She does not believe in universal prescriptions for human suffering. Each process is built with the person — starting from what they bring, at their own pace, with the depth the situation calls for.

Psychotherapy does not happen when the psychologist speaks. It happens in the space between what the person says and what they cannot yet say. On relational clinical work

She works mainly with young adults and adults in periods of transition — existential questions, relational difficulties, anxiety, depressive episodes, processes of self-knowledge. With attentive listening and openness to the time each process requires.

What you can work on with me

Working with Psingular
begins with a conversation.

A first session with no commitment to continue. To get to know each other and see whether it makes sense to move forward together.
